The Bluebells Are Here!
MY FAVOURITE SESSION OF THE YEAR
How exciting! The bluebell season only lasts a few weeks so we have to be quick so no-one misses out!
Come join us in the woods with the gentle rustle of breeze through the leaves and the musical bird song!
If you would like a walk in the woods for some special bluebell portraits of your family this spring, contact me today because spaces are going to be limited!
Sessions will run for about 1-2 weeks as the flowers remain and spaces will be extended if possible. This year the sessions will run between 10am until 8pm on selected dates indicated in the booking calendar below.

What you get:
£30 will reserve your session slot for 40 minutes at Tehidy Country Park.
There is free parking and it is safe for children to explore and play and dog friendly. We will meet at the car park where I can introduce myself to both you and the children.
Then we head on a gentle circular walk leading through the paths of bluebells and looping back to the cars. During this time the children will be encouraged to sit with the family for group photos as well as sit on logs, encouraged to explore and maybe play some fun woodland games.
I ask parents where possible to help me remind the children not to step on the pretty flowers, especially the bluebells as we want everyone to enjoy them.
Following your session your images will be edited and uploaded into a private password protected online gallery. The gallery will contain at least 15 images and you can see your images before you purchase anything. The great price of £50 will purchase all images in your gallery!
Customised wall-art can also be ordered so if you are looking for something wonderful to hang on your wall like a family canvas or a gift for a family member then I have some wonderful products for you.
Family dogs are always welcome!
What Do We Do In The TIME?
As well as getting that all important family photo amongst the flowers I also incorporate playing some woodland games. This maybe hide and seek, chasing their siblings or getting the children to use their imagination to have fun. While they are laughing and giggling it enables me to provide a wonderful varied gallery of images for each family.
If you have a specific image you want to include then I always do my best to work it into a session so get in touch!
What Do You Wear?
Woodlands are full of green, brown, purple and blue. I recommend children and families to dress in similar tones to compliment the woods.
Images that stand the test of time best hanging on the wall have limited logos and no loud patterns. Everyone should have good walking shoes with closed toes and children especially need to be warm!
On The Day:
I am Ofsted registered and work with children on a daily basis. I am confident that after a few minutes on our walk your children should start to feel at ease and relax.
I suggest telling children that you are going to meet me for a walk in the woods to find the fairies, or go on a bear hunt. For children it’s much more appealing and exciting than being asked to smile for a photographer.
Final Images:
All images are professionally edited and purchased galleries are made available to download as digital files. Edited galleries are presented in an online proofing gallery.
Where possible I remove blemishes and edit in my woodland style to create wonderful memorable images perfect for your home. These photographs are certain to make stunning colourful wall displays as prints or canvases.
What if there is bad weather:
We live in Cornwall, so yes we are used to the varied weather and it does rain. If it's just a little bit of rain then usually the tree canopy is protective enough for for us in the woods. Children can wear wellies and raincoats and the images are still just as stunning. If the weather is terrible don’t worry, we can reschedule and shift sessions around to make it happen on another day or discuss transferring your credit to another session.
This is a great opportunity to capture some wonderful natural images of your family but please be aware that there is limited space. Mainly due to the short time the flowers are at their best.
