Daubuz Moors - Parking

Central in Truro with several car parks nearby this green space is wonderful for our purpose but first you have to drop the car somewhere.

There can be limited parking on Treseders Gardens where the entrance is but it’s pot luck to get a space. The NCP and Pydar Street car parks are nearby and Moresk is the closest plus it’s free to park after 4pm.

Where To Go

Once you are on foot the entrance to the moors is on Treseders Gardens, on the left there is a gate with a sign and a plaque on a granite stone. Walking down here and following the path to the right is where we will begin but I will meet you at the gate before we go any further.

Places to Shoot

Area 1

More shaded with dappled tree cover and longer grasses this area has a totally different feel to the rest of the space.

Area 2

This area is really a green field with tree boundaries. It’s perfect for picnic shots, walking and running through the grass and twirling around. The viaduct in the background is usually out of shot but left in here so you get a sense of scale.

Area 3

One of the most sought after location shots will be achieved here. Using lighting on stands we’ll have some fun using the natural trees to frame you in your outfits.

Area 4

Down by the river the woodland path is dappled with sunlight through the tall trees. It’s also on the way back to the entrance so make a perfect circular walk.
