Pieces of seemingly plain wood are magically transformed into beautiful works of art. The wood-turner uses the natural grains to each pieces advantage and where possible they are enhanced using a variety of oils. After a slow and careful process you witness shapes and vibrant colours emerging.
Using the wood lathe along with a wide selection of hand-held tools Tony cuts all types of wood. The final products are a wide variety of attractive shapes aesthetically pleasing to the eye and most importantly to the touch.
Tony often attends craft fairs around the County displaying his work but few people get to see the process of what product started out as before he worked the material as a true craftsman.
